Laptop dispensing kiosks

Library patrons can stay connected throughout the library building with freestanding laptop dispensing kiosks. Each kiosk holds 6 laptops which contain the same software as the Library’s public desktop computers and allow patrons to check out and return directly from the unit. Students and patrons will be able to use the self-service kiosks to check out laptops for in-house use to work on homework assignments, conduct research over the Internet, or use Microsoft Office. Library cardholders may borrow one laptop at a time for 1 hour of use in the Library building. However, if there is no one waiting to use the laptop, patrons can use it longer.
